In addition to my back page articles I have also written editorials. These tend to be more serious, but some are light hearted. The two which are definitely not light hearted concern two mothers (one a solicitor) who were convicted of killing their children. Their cases are the subject of the first two editorials shown here. I am pleased that both of them  had their convictions overturned, but it is an appalling indictment of our system that they were ever convicted in the first place.  

Sadly, some years after being proved innocent, Sally Clark died. There can be little doubt that the appalling strain of her wrongful conviction led to her premature death.
