For quite a lot of my early life as a solicitor I undertook something called "conveyancing" which is the legal side of buying and selling property. I ended up writing 2 books on the subject (one jointly with Alison my first wife).

I then gave up conveyancing entirely, and never go near the subject. But news travels slowly and I still occasionally get requests to make a comment on conveyancing matters.
